100% of your donation goes directly to our project in Ethiopia - we keep no portion of your donation for salaries, administration or marketing costs!
Schools for Humanity is managed and operated by volunteers. All the costs of running this public charity are covered by our core team. We feel that by making a donation you have placed your trust in us - a trust that demands that we achieve the greatest good possible for your money.
The children in the Shashemene community in Ethiopia depend on us for their formal education, and for food while the school is in session. We take that responsibility very seriously.
Where your dollars go:
$20 - will provide schooling plus 2 meals a day for one child for one month
$50 - will pay the salary of an assistant teacher for one month
$100 - will pay a teacher's salary for one month
$200 - will provide writing materials for a class for a year
$250 - will provide basic medical support for the whole school for a month
$900 - will run the school for a month
